RUNNERS-UP, KL JUNIOR 2016

CP emerged Runners-Up in this year's KL Junior which is used as the last competition by KL's Panel of  Selectors for the purpose of picking the team to the MSSM Chess Competition in Kota Bharu, Kelantan.

5 points from 6 rounds of play ensured not only second place but also cash prize of RM60.

CM Amir Faiz dropped half a point to remain Undefeated and Emerged as the 2016 MSSWPKL U10 CHAMPION. This is the second time he's emerged as the F.T.of KL Champion having been the Champ in his first attempt in 2014 when he was 7 years old.

SK.Taman Tun Dr.Ismail (1) - THIRD, 2016 MSSWPKL Finals

CM Amir Faiz Amirul on Board 1 helped the S.K.Taman Tun Dr. Ismail (1) to a Third place finish in this year's 2016 MSSWPKL State Finals. The third-placing is an improvement from last year's 5th place finish.

Amir Faiz and his teammate Al Waqeef are the surviving members of the 2015 team while Hadif and Kushaal are the 2016 additions. Together, the SKTTDI(1) team put up a much better fight, losing only once.
